Production and transportation are both critical for society's competitiveness, citizens' quality of life, and the planet's health. The research group focuses on technology implementation, digitalization, and automation in both production and transportation. Particularly in the case of personal transportation and transport infrastructure, the group works on traffic safety, mobility, and accessibility.

Collaborations

We collaborate with small and medium-sized manufacturing companies, consulting engineering firms, transportation companies, municipalities, and contractors.

We specifically look at the implementation and utilization of Industry 4.0 technologies in both manufacturing, transportation, and construction companies.
