Tiltrædelsesforelæsning ved Professor Mehdi Savaghebi, DTU Engineering Technology
“Power Electronic-Enabled Power Systems”
Renewable energy systems are gaining increasing importance throughout the world. Proliferation of renewable energy sources has led to new opportunities and challenges in control, stability, protection, power quality and operation of power systems. Power electronics is an enabling technology for effective integration of renewables into the electrical grid.
In the inaugural lecture, Mehdi will look at integration of renewable energy systems in smart grids and microgrids through effective utilization of power electronic technologies and state-of-the-art control schemes. He will also share highlights from the work conducted in the field of power quality, stability, and protection of electrical grids.
The inaugural lecture will also be live-streamed at
