XXVIII Biennial Symposium on Measuring Techniques in Turbomachinery – Since its initiation (1969), the objective of this symposium is to provide a forum for researchers from universities, research institutes and industry to get together to discuss problems and share experiences involved in making measurements in turbomachines. 2

Its central objective is to foster a forum for exchanging experiences in conducting turbomachine measurements, covering the progression of techniques used to study mainly aerothermal phenomena across various components like cascades, compressors, turbines, engines, and power plants.

This year on October 1-2, 2026, the 28th Biennial Symposium on Measuring Techniques in Turbomachinery (MTT) will be held at DTU Engineering Technology, Ballerup (Copenhagen), Denmark.
