The Red Corner Daycare Center

A primary goal is to integrate Sundholm with the surrounding neighborhoods in order to create a sense of regional cohesiveness. Attractive new connections will help bring Sundholm closer to Vesterbro, the Brygge Bridge, Ørestad North and Amager Strand.

Every component of The Red Corner was constructed at Scandibyg’s factory in Jutland, before being transported to Sundholm. This facilitated a quicker construction process and fewer disturbances for the surrounding area. The corner stone in the project is a container sized module with a wooden structural frame.
