Green Roofs Århusgade

As part of creating a sustainable town all the roofs in Århusgadekvarteret are going to be begreened in either its fullness or as roof terrace with a clearly green mark. Besides the positive CO2-affect the roof will absorb rainwater, and by great rainfall such as cloudburst the water will be delayed on its way down to the street. It minimizes the load of the sewer system. Meanwhile the roofs creates a better microclimate and works as good insulation for the buildings.
