Flintholm
The idea of a rail road ring around Copenhagen was conceived as early as 1885 by a danish engineer called Hammerich. The idea partly came to life in 1934, connecting Hellerup with Vanløse, but not until 2005 was it carried out to its full extend. Trains depart every 5 minutes, and the station connects not only 6 stations from Hellerup to Ny Ellebjerg, open to the public in 2007, but also all 6 DSB train lines. Flintholm is the third most busy station in Denmark after Copenhagen Central Station and Nørreport.
