Tickets and prices
The metro, bus and train services have a fully integrated ticket system in Copenhagen and Zealand.
For example: When you buy a ticket for the metro you can use it on the buses and trains as well.
Prices
The ticket system is based on several zones. For example:
- The trip from the airport to Danhostel City covers 3 zones.
- From Danhostel City to DU Ballerup you need 4 zones.

Don’t travel without a ticket
You cannot buy tickets on the metro train or any other train, so please buy a ticket before you get on. If not, you may face a fine of DKK 750.
