The DTU Ballerup Campus canteen serves a range of internationally inspired dishes as well as traditional Danish food.
Order food from the canteen
Please note: Summer closed at the canteen. The Canteen opens again at 12 August.
The canteen is open Mon-Thu 8 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The canteen offers you:
- Breakfast – a broad range of bread, fruit and mi, bread, cakes and milk products
- Lunch – Hot meal of the day, warm Danish meal of the day, cold buffet, salad bar and sandwiches
- Tea – Fruit, bread, cake and small selection of sweets
- Guest events ordered in advance
We are dedicated to making good food and to serve it as attractively as possible – so help us by keeping the area hygienic so that the next person gets the same service as you do. We have a good team spirit and enjoy going to work each day. We strive for a good working environment and continually try to do things more efficiently. Last but not least we value food safety more than economy.

Minimise food waste
In order to minimise food waste, we use our daily waste awareness programme Trim Trax. This enables us to actively combat production and buffet waste.
Due to Trim Trax, the Compass Group is also part of the Environment Ministry’s Initiative Group Against Food Waste.
